GETTING HERE
Car: Three hour drive from Auckland and five hours from Wellington.  The cities of Hamilton, Taupo, Tauranga and Whakatane are about one hour away.

Bus: A variety of coach and scenic tour operators connect Rotorua with other North Island towns and cities on a daily basis.

Air: From December 2009 there will be a twice weekly direct link with Sydney, Australia via Air New Zealand.   www.airnewzealand.co.nz

Several flights a day link the city to the key centres of Auckland and Wellington.
