Continuing research into the cause of rheumatoid arthritis and gout .
We know that rheumatoid arthritis (RA) tends to cluster within families and gout affects certain ethnic groups more than others, (predominantly Maori in New Zealand.) We have been searching for a possible genetic link common in persons with these conditions.
