All referrals to our service must first be approved by Dr Rodney Waterworth - visiting specialist in the Taiarawhiti District Health Board Area.

For patients living in the Waikato DHB, referrals for specialist rheumatology services should, in the first instance, be sent to Dr Alan Doube at Waikato Hospital.  The patients' needs will be assessed and the appropriate service provision, including possible admission to QE Health, will be arranged.
