Aix Massage: The Aix massage (pronounced "aches"
ironically enough) is very popular in modern times, although
the concept was actually introduced to Rotorua from France in
the early 1900's. Named after the French spa town
Aix-les-Bains, today the treatment embraces the
essence of Rotorua, combining massage with jets of
thermal water from the same waters as the Rachel Spring.
