Students
Trainee Interns Dr Peter Jones, PhD, MRCP, Consultant Rheumatologist at QE Health, also holds an appointment as Associate Professor of Medicine with Auckland University. The appointment is part of the growth of the Waikato Clinical School in Hamilton, where Dr Jones is Deputy Head of Department. Current teaching activities include a locomotor medicine course for 4th year students and clinical skills training for final year students based at Waikato Hospital. Both groups attend QE Health during a stage of their course. Professor Jones maintains a clinical position at QE Health, dividing his time between Rotorua and Hamilton.
