Medical Professionals and Funders

QE Health is a national centre of excellence for treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation for patients with chronic conditions.

All NZ clinicians have the right to refer patients to QE Health. We have contracted funding agreements with Lakes DHB Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and all DHBs from the old Central RHA region. More detail is provided below.

Rehabilitation Services

Our role is on providing rehabilitation for patients who remain sufferers of unmanageable pain or disability despite application of best possible practice from local medical services.

We offer rehabilitation programmes for the following patients:

• Newly diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Long standing inflammatory arthritis
• Generalised Osteoarthritis
• Fibromyalgia
• Medical rheumatology
• Palliative Balneotherapy
• Post polio rehabilitation
