We opened in 1942 as a Convalescent Hospital for servicemen returning from WWII.

Rotorua was an ideal location with a proud history based on the healing properties of thermal waters fed by geothermal springs.

The ideal candidate will enjoy physical work, a variety of tasks and daily challenges.

This position is based on a rotation roster, including early mornings and weekends.

This will involve:

Thermal pool cleaning.

Mud and Wax treatments preparations.

General house keeping duties

Deep cleaning in treatment areas

Laundry duties

Client liaison

Accurate record keeping

Sole management

Assess/review current practices with Spa, and implement new practices as and when required.

Actively stay current with new technology/trends.

The ideal candidate will have a background in front line administration, with knowledge of Spa and Allied Health Services being an advantage but not essential.

This position is based on a rotating roster, including weekdays, nights and weekends.

The role will involve:

Greeting clients and registering their arrival.

Booking of treatments for all QE Health services.

Accurate data entry, record keeping and professional documentation

Seeking new and return business

Promotion of QE Health products

Working within a team as well as the ability to self manage

What our Physiotherapist do?
• ACC/ private acute musculoskeletal
• DHB acute and chronic patients
• ACC pain contracts
• Pre and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Inpatient Orthopaedic surgical rehab
• Neuro-rehabilitation for young and older adults
• Inpatient chronic pain management (1 of 3 places in NZ to do this)
