The classes will be run by our team of highly-quailified tutors with a passion for what they teach.

INTRODUCTION TO MASSAGE

Massage

Would you like to learn how to massage your family and friends or maybe you are thinking of massage as a career but are not certain it’s for you?
Try our easy, fun filled course where you will develop the skill and confidence to give a basic massage with one of our expert, experienced therapists.
• Maximum of 6 students per course
• Dates
6 Thursdays from September 20

6pm – 8.15pm
• Cost $299 (to be paid on booking a course).

No prior experience is required. Lots of individual attention will be given to students. Hand-outs will be provided and you will receive an attendance certificate on completion of the course.

Meditation & Mindfulness

This 8-week course with Cherry Campbell will give you the tools, understanding and support to help you create a new calm habit. 
Strictly limited numbers.

Meditation

Are you:

The Introduction to Meditation course will explain the origins of meditation, the science behind it, the fight and flight stress reaction and the relaxation response. It will introduce a variety of styles from beginner breathing techniques, progressive muscle relaxation, mindfulness body scans, creative visualisations, sound meditations and mantras.

There are many different styles of meditation and during this course each person can decide which style, or variety of styles, suits them individually and allows them to build a regular practice.

Cherry Campbell is a Registered Nurse and has been meditating for over 10 years.

She has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Health Science in Nursing Education and a Certificate in Meditation Teaching and Holistic Human Development and a Diploma of Meditation Therapy specialising in pain management and depression and anxiety.
She is therefore able to teach meditation from a science and practice perspective.
She is also a Reiki Master/Teacher and practices Tai Chi and Yoga.

Self Massage

Perhaps you don’t have someone that can give you a massage, or maybe you just don’t want to get a professional massage.

We have the solution at QE Health, Self–massage! Become your own massage therapist.

Learning and practicing some techniques at home may be the option for you.

This course is designed for everyone and teaches techniques that anyone can do.

Massage is one of the best antidotes to stress. Self-massage is a tried and tested traditional technique which is used to promote physical, mental, and emotional health and is so easy you are probably already doing it without realising.

So come along and give yourself some “me time”.

Learning some proper, safe self-massage techniques will help you to ease aching muscles, lower stress levels and leave you feeling relaxed. You will be taught by an experienced professional Massage Therapist in a comfortable relaxed and fun-filled environment.

• Times: 6pm – 7.30pm (It’s shorter than the normal massage course time wise)

Introduction to baby massage

Baby Massage

Learn the skills and techniques to aid sleep and sooth your little one.
• Dates - coming in Spring.
Cost $199 (to be paid on booking a course).

You need to wear comfortable clothing.
This wonderful, tailored course provides parents and caregivers all the confidence, support and advice required to give your little one a wonderful introduction to massage.
QE Health will provide all equipment needed, but you may wish to bring a notepad and pen with you.
