Wellness for every body
Occupational Therapy

Live the life you want

A person’s occupations (the things that they do) help to express their identity, how they feel and how they connect with others. Health and wellbeing can affect the things that a person wants, needs and/or are expected to do, to live and enjoy life.

Occupational therapists analyse physical, environmental, psychosocial, mental, spiritual, political and cultural factors to identify barriers to occupation.

They then focus on enabling clients to overcome these obstacles to maintain or regain independence in activities of daily life, including self-care, work, leisure and community participation.
